Banana fruits ONCE per stem — cut the mother plant down after harvest and replant the offshoots that grew underneath. Banana ripens 6 months after the flower stalk emerges, OR when all leaves die except the last three. Move offshoots February through end of March. Ideal temperature 15-27°C with high humidity.
